During our recent family getaway to Ashbrook Motel, we found it to be an ideal base for exploring the Central Plateau. The warm hospitality from the owner made us feel right at home, not to mention the thoughtful little gifts that greeted us upon arrival, which delighted both my mother and me. Our spacious room featured family-friendly amenities, including a DVD player, perfect for cozy movie nights after a day of fishing events nearby. The children enjoyed the playground while we appreciated the tranquil location nestled away from the main road yet close to Lake Taupo's stunning activities. For those traveling with family, Ashbrook offers easy access to various outdoor adventures - from boating at White Island to the scenic walks around the lakefront. We are undoubtedly looking forward to our return to this welcoming and accommodating retreat.
